Snow Report 3/2/10

30" of fresh snow from last weeks dump!! We had an outstanding weekend, and want to thank the huge number of snowmobilers who came up to party with us! Hope to see you again this weekend.

SNOW!! Finally...

We got the big dump we were all wishing for! Over a foot fell on Lake Desolation the last couple of days. Hop on those snow machines, and come to Tinneys!

4th Annual Outhouse Race Results

Tinney's Tavern wishes to thank all participants and spectators at this year's annual Outhouse Derby. I hope everyone had as much fun as we did!

Official Results:

1st Place: "Five Man Bomb Sled" (Brian Brumley & Friends)
These guys showed not only a clever airstream designed machine, but also that they have the fortitude, integrity, and stamina to compete in 3 separate heats, beating out 2 former Championship teams, to prove they are the Undisputed "Outhouse Champs"!

2nd Place: "Clancy's Shamrock Shitters"
This Green Machine was built Lean - I think it weighed about 4 lbs! Definitely a unique design, and when it went straight, I think it was as fast as any other. Nice job guys - way to represent!

3rd Place: "Brick Shit House" (Team of Lake Desolation Locals)
Our 2009 Champs! These guys finished strong, as expected, and if it weren't for their machine overturning midway through the their first heat, they might have pulled off a 2nd consecutive Championship title! Kudos to the driver - she rode the last half of their second heat upside down!! Nice job guys and gal!

4th Annual Outhouse Races - Sunday, Jan. 31st @ 2pm

Official Rules for the 2010 Outhouse Races:

• 5 Person Teams - MUST have at least 1 Female
• Driver MUST be minimum 100 lbs.
• Outhouse MUST have 3 Sides, a Roof, and a Toilet Seat (toilet paper is optional :)
• Absolutely NO Motors!
